Oberdas, Joseph C.
Born to Eternal Life on February 16, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Beloved
husband of the late Ardelle (nee La'Cosse). Loving father of Karla
(Thomas) Duerr, Monica (Jim) Ross of Woodlands, TX, the late Dean Oberdas,
Mary (Gary) Teschendorf and their dogs Jimmmie and Ragamuffin, John (Kathy) Oberdas, Therese (Mark) Kopczynski and Paul (Jenny) Oberdas. Further loved by 16 grandchildren, 18
great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his wife Ardelle, his son Dean, his sisters Florence
Mravick and Margie Charnish and his brother Harry Oberdas.
Joseph was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He served in the
United States Marine Corps from 1943-1945 and 1950-1951, honorably
discharged as Sergeant. He was a member of the Gross-Yaksh VFW Post #6498
and a member of the North Milwaukee Lions Club. Joseph retired after 35
years of service from the Wisconsin Electric Power Company. Former member
of St. Mary/Immaculate Conception in West Bend.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 21 at 11 AM at St. Agnes
Catholic Church, 12801 W. Fairmount Ave, Butler. Visitation at the church
on Saturday from 9:30 AM until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
