Joseph Zukowski

Born to Eternal Life October 21, 2019, age 77 years. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Berzinski). Dear father of Kathryn (Peter) Swanda. Loving grandfather of Julia Swanda. Also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Sophie Zukowski. Joseph graduated from Messmer High School in 1959, he then graduated from Milwaukee Institute of Technology (now MATC) where he was a member of Alpha Nu Beta. Joseph was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and was awarded a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He was a Supervisor at Briggs & Stratton where he retired after 33 years. Joseph was an avid sportsman, a champion trap shooter, past president of the WTA, former member of the Milwaukee Gun Club and a current member of the Waukesha Gun Club. Visitation Tuesday, October 29, from 3-5 PM at Mother of Good Counsel Church, 6924 W. Lisbon Ave., followed by a Funeral Mass at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
