Joyce Rode

(nee Hoerig) Died peacefully at home on January 7, 2023 at the age of 93 (39). Beloved wife of the late William C. Rode. Dear mother of Michael Rode and Sandra (David) Trickle. Loving grandmother of Angela Blasewitz, Tracy, Joshua and Jeremy (Lisa) Rode, Brett Balistreri and Lisa (Justin) Pichler. Fond sister of Shirley (Melvin) Ray. Fond sister-in-law of Judy Rode. Also survived by great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joyce was a devoted Catholic, loved country music and even named her cat Shania. She loved to take pictures and carried a camera in her purse everywhere she went. Everyone who knew Joyce loved her. Visitation Monday, January 16, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, with a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
