JT Cohan Reuter, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving wife and sons.
Beloved husband of Rosemary (Twohig) for 53 years. Proud and devoted father of Scott (Jane) Reuter and Daniel (Jenn) Reuter. Cherished grandfather to Ella, Bradley, Ethan, Jameson, Evangeline, and Maverick. Dear brother of Kathy (Vinny) McAvoy, Dave Reuter, Ray Reuter, and Tom (Roseann) Reuter.
JT was a proud graduate of Marquette University and remained a true "Warrior" throughout his life. Though he proudly claimed to have "retired" at an early age, he never truly stopped working hard. JT was known for his generous spirit, sharp financial expertise, and unwavering willingness to help family and friends while expecting little in return. He believed in doing what was right and always tried to pick up the phone when someone needed him. He carried a strong sense of responsibility, deep love for his family, and an enduring dislike for paying taxes that those closest to him will remember with a smile.
JT especially enjoyed golfing at North Hills Country Club and PGA West, where he treasured both the game and the friendships built along the way. He also found great companionship and joy in his many beloved Golden Retrievers over the years.
Above all else, JT took immense pride in his family and in the lives and futures of those he loved. His warmth, humor, guidance, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
