Age 84. Died at Alexian Village May 26, 2016. Born Oct. 11, 1931, to Matson and Lucy Weber Weisenbeck in Durand, WI. Made First Profession with the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians) on Sept. 8, 1954. Ordained a priest on June 4, 1960. Ministered as teacher and administrator at colleges in Maryland, New Jersey, Wisconsin, Kentucky, and Minnesota. General Treasurer for the Society in Rome. Pastor at parishes in Tennessee and heavily involved in ecumenical ministries in Tennessee and Kentucky. Earned doctorates in philosophy and theology. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Darrell. He is survived by four sisters: Sr. Joan Weisenbeck FSPA, and Sr. Marlene Weisenbeck FSPA, both of La Crosse, WI, Lu Ann (Mrs. Bruce) Kaatz of Eau Claire, WI, and Rita (Mrs. Earl) Hetrick of Nelson, WI; two brothers: Arnold (Edith) Weisenbeck of Durand, WI, and Lawrence (Mary Lou) Weisenbeck of New Richmond, WI; and sister-in-law Thelma Weisenbeck of Durand, WI; as well as his brothers and sisters in the Salvatorian Family. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 2, 11am at The Chapel of Alexian Village, 9301 N. 76th St. Visitation Thursday at the Chapel from 10am until time of Mass.
