Justine M. Wyderka (nee Torner), 83, died peacefully on July 1, 2022 surrounded by family after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles C. and Josephine (nee Brzezinski) Torner, her brother Charles H. Torner; her sister-in-law Camille Torner. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Donald; her devoted children Kevin, Karen, Susan, and Sandra (Daniel Lee) Wyderka; her adoring grandchildren Josephine and Vivienne Lee; her brother-in-law Allen Wyderka; her sister-in-law Maryanne Torner; and other nieces, nephew and cousins. Born in Milwaukee in 1939, Justine attended St. Mary Czestochowa parish and grade school, and she graduated from Notre Dame High School in Milwaukee. She also attended Mount Mary College. She moved to Brookfield in 1975 and became an active member of the Brookfield Tennis club. In the 1990s, she joined Advanced Engines, a small engineering firm based in Wauwatosa, as their office manager. She worked there until her retirement in 2007. She spent her spare time in her garden, baking, reading, making puzzles and doting on her grandchildren. The family extends sincere gratitude to our sister, Karen Wyderka, who selflessly cared for our mother in our parent's home in Brookfield since May, 2020. Karen and "Team Wyderka" allowed Justine to remain in her cherished home with dignity and quality of life to spend as much time as possible with her beloved granddaughters. The family also extends special thank you to the caregivers at Horizon Hospice. Celebration of Life services to take place on July 16, 2022 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1755 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield, WI 53005 starting at 10:00 AM, with Mass at 11:00 AM. Private interment.
