Karen Gehring

Karen L. Gehring, born February 1,1955, peacefully passed away on March 12, 2024, after losing her long battle with cancer. Anyone who knew Karen would say that she was a big spirit with an even bigger heart, generous and loving beyond measure. She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Greg; her brother, Robert Ladd (wife Janet). Her adoring niece and nephew: John (wife Stephanie), Jessica, and Dean. As well as many grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert (step-mom Barbara) Ladd and Maria (step-dad Truman) Strong. Karens infectious personality allowed her to make friends wherever she went and maintained those relationships. The family is asking, in lieu of flowers, that a donation be made to the Salem Lutheran Organ Fund .
