Kathleen M. Neidert, age 80, of Sheboygan, WI, passed away on December 30th, 2025. She was born on May 16th, 1944, to Ralph and Emily (née Platek) Drapp and grew up in Milwaukee, WI, where she developed the kindness, resilience, and gentle spirit that would define her life.
Kathleen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her creativity, warmth, and quiet strength. She built a life filled with meaning—raising her family, nurturing her faith, and embracing opportunities to explore the world. Among her most treasured experiences were her trip to Rome with her husband and her mission trip to Uganda, journeys that reflected her sense of adventure and her heart for helping others.
After her illness in 2011, Kathleen was no longer able to work, and she faced the difficult loss of many cherished memories, including those precious travels. Yet even in the face of these challenges, she continued to meet each day with grace. She found deep peace and comfort in the steady presence of family—especially the time she spent with her son Tom, daughter‑in‑law Kim, their children, and Kim’s extended family, who embraced her with love and care.
In her later years, Kathleen filled her days with the simple joys that brought her comfort: creating homemade word searches, knitting, reading, and coloring. These small acts of creativity became her way of staying connected to the world around her. She especially looked forward to Friday night dinners with Tom’s family and the many gatherings that followed—moments of laughter, warmth, and togetherness that she cherished deeply.
Kathleen is survived by her son Thomas (Kimberly) Neidert, daughter Karen (Brad) Bauer and her grandchildren Aiden (gf Lea Martin), Xavier, Ella, Jacob (wife McKenna, children Camden, Braxton, Paisley and Ava) Neidert, Sarah (Zach) Mayer and James Bauer who will forever hold her memory close. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Howard Neidert, her brother Kenneth Drapp, and many other family members who welcomed her home with love.
A funeral will be held on January 6th, 2026, at Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park will take place immediately after the service.
Her love, her gentleness, and the quiet strength she carried through every season of life will continue to live on in all who knew her.
