Kathleen Olson

August 12, 1939 — May 2, 2024

Kathleen "Kathy" (Beyer) Olson of Brookfield passed away peacefully on May 2, 2024. Kathy was born August 12, 1939, in Wausau, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by dear husband Curtis Olson whom she married on December 26, 1959. They shared thirty-nine years of adventure together. Kathy enjoyed golf, bridge, theater performances, gourmet cooking, keeping abreast of current events, and involvement in many ministries and activities at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Kathy was mother to Scott Olson who died in 2022 and is survived by daughter Pam Findlay (Russ) of Naples, Florida. She is also survived by sisters Irma (Elaine) Drews, Shirley Kasten, and brothers Ronnie Beyer and Randy Beyer. Her sister Joan passed away in 2000. Kathy will be missed and mourned by extended family and many friends. She would especially want to reach out to friends Maureen, Titina, Mary, and Jan, and goddaughter Susan who helped her navigate the last difficult years and comforted her in so many ways. Special thank you also to caregivers and friends at Congregational Home, especially those in CBRF. Visitation will be held on Saturday May 11, 2024, at 10:00 followed by service at 11:00 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 10025 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Private burial Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials to church appreciated.
