Kathleen Schoendorf

Of Greenfield. Kathleen Marie "Kathy" Schoendorf, 81, passed away unexpectedly Monday November 18, 2024 at her home. Beloved wife of 51 years of Fred Anthony Schoendorf (deceased). Dear mother of Gary (Kathy) Schoendorf, Sue (Greg) Schramka and Ken Schoendorf. Loving grandmother of Mallory and Sammi Schramka. Fond sister of Richard and Greg Burdick and beloved Aunt of Julianne Schalk, Jennifer (Mickey) Minhaus, Michael Burdick, James (Lisa) Burdick, William (Mary) Burdick and John (Tracy) Burdick. Kathy pursued her Doctorate at the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology (WSPP) later in her life after taking time to raise her young children. She went on to become a psychologist in private practice at Elmbrook Family Counseling and served as a professor and mentor for many years at WSPP. She touched many lives during her time as a psychologist and influenced the development of many up-and-coming psychologists. Family was the center of Kathy's life, and throughout her life she remained a warm and loving caretaker of her family. She delighted in her grandchildren and enjoyed her time with them every chance she got. Kathy loved traveling with her husband, Fred and together they visited many countries and often enjoyed their favorite spots in Door County. Kathy's other passion was playing cards, particularly Bridge. She played for many years with the same group of women who became her lifelong friends and support system. Kathy also enjoyed politics and political discourse and loved staying current on news and events around the world. She was also very passionate about the Green Bay Packers. She was very excited about this season and felt they have a great chance at going to the Super Bowl. Go Pack Go! Her larger than life presence will be missed by all those who knew her. Visitation Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
