Kathryn Schmit

(Nee Revolinski) Of Mequon, Born to Life July 19, 1950-Born to Eternal Life November 2, 2017. Beloved wife and best friend of Tom. Proud mother and mentor of Tommy (Jennifer) and Joey. Adoring grandmother of Caitlin, Grace, and Stella Schmit. Devoted daughter of Provie. Loving sister to Ann, Bob, John, Julie, and Mary Jo. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her son Andrew and her father John. Fun-filled, caring, and empathetic friend to so many. Compassionate leader of Cope Services. Kathy was a morning person. She began her days earlier than most with a pot of coffee, a run, and a mantra: Carpe Diem. No task was too big for her to tackle. She was bold, warm, happy, and always met you with a smile. We love you Kathy Schmit. You inspired us all by simply being you. We will forever miss and remember you. Your bright spirit will live on as we strive to seize each day as you did. Visitation Friday, November 10, from 12 Noon to 2:30pm at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2750 West Mequon Road, Mequon, followed by a Funeral Mass at 3:00pm. Reception to follow at Shully's, 146 North Green Bay Road, Thiensville. Private burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children's Hospital.
