Laurie Frank

(nee Hertel) Of Waukesha, formerly of Menomonee Falls. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the age of 60, Laurie passed away in peace with her family by her side after a long battle with cancer. Beloved mother of Lindsey (Blair) Grover, Natalee (Anthony) Farler, Taylor and Eric Frank. Loving grandmother of Kayleighanna Farler. Dear daughter of Romilda Hertel. Fond sister of Charles (Diane) Hertel, Mark Hertel, Beth (Dan) Uselmann and Ellen Hertel. Former spouse of Darrell Frank. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her father John Hertel and dear friend Tom Mulhern. Laurie was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Mary Church in Menomonee Falls and St. John Neumann in Waukesha. She was a K3-K4 teacher at Aquinas Academy in Menomonee Falls for 16 years where she inspired hundreds of students throughout her time there. Laurie enjoyed gardening, crafts and spending time with her children and granddaughter. She was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, rarely missed watching a Brewer, Packer or Badger game. Laurie had such an amazing support system made up of family and friends who she was so very thankful for. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with. Funeral Mass Saturday, October 6, 12 Noon at St. Mary Catholic Church, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave., Menomonee Falls. Visitation Friday, October 5, from 4-7 PM at the Schramka Funeral Home, W164 N9034 Water St., Menomonee Falls and visitation Saturday at Church from 11 AM until time of Mass.
