Leona Schueller

Schueller, Leona E. (Nee Kaltenbach) Born to Eternal Life Sunday, July 24, 2016 at age 93. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Leroy of 68 years. Proud mother of John (Linda), Michael (Christine), Mary Ann (James) Biernat, Joseph (Suzzanne), and Thomas (Margaret). Loving grandma of Steven (Charleen), Joseph (Betsy) Biernat, Daniel (Maureen), Bridget (Brad) Howell, David, Laura, Matthew (Julie), Andrew (Caitlin), Michael, Keith, Sandra, Sr. Bernadette "Sarah", and Adam. Loving great-grandma of Emma, James, Joseph, Trevor, Bryce, Brayden, Bell, Parker, Kira, and Haddie. Survived by brother-in-law William "Bud" Schueller and sisters-in-law Gloria and Lorraine Kaltenbach. Preceded in death by her siblings Sr. Imelda, Elma, Herbert, Loretta, Robert, and Theodore and siblings-in-law Luella (James) Holzbauer, Charlotte (John) McCauley, Pearl (Lawrence) Hacker, and Kenneth (Joan) Schueller. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday, July 29 at Alexian Village Chapel, 9301 N 76th St, Milwaukee from 4:30 PM until the time of Mass, 6 PM. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Leona was a loving wife, mother, and caretaker who gave selflessly to all those she touched. She was an active volunteer in ministries throughout her life. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Alexian Village Health Center for their kind, compassionate care of Leona for the last 5 and a half years. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Racine Dominican Sisters or Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation appreciated.
