Leonard Edward Wilk

We are devastated to announce that Leonard (Len) Wilk of Brookfield, WI died very suddenly April 4th, 2026 at Froedtert Hospital, surrounded by his family, after a rare blood cancer diagnosis. Len was born May 27th, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois, joining older sister Barbara. Len married Susan in 1982, they had two sons, Stephen and Gregory. Len had a wonderful career, working in hospital administration, which he enjoyed and found great fulfillment. Len passionately loved traveling with his wife, they made it to their seventh and final continent this February. As a doting father, Len loved to spend time with his sons, especially watching movies and sports. Len spent many hours playing with his beloved grandsons. You could find Len and Theo at the pool most summer afternoons, and on colder days they spent many hours with nerf guns and building train tracks.

Len is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Stephanie. He is survived and mourned by his wife Susan (Mann), sons Stephen and Gregory (Moriah), and his dearest grandsons Theodore and Maximus, as well as many extended family members. 

Everyone is invited to the celebration of life at Peace United Methodist Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin on May 16th. Visitation will begin at 10 am, followed by a service at 11 am. Please bring pictures and memories to add to a book for the family.
