Leone Lavin

May 19, 1944 — December 9, 2016

Lavin, Leone E. (Nee Hajducki) passed away unexpectedly at home at the age of 72. She was the loving wife of James Lavin of 50 years, and the loving and caring mother of Lisa (Michael) Popke and Kelly (Earl) Braker. Loving mother in law of Scott Mitchell. She also was the proud grandmother of Kayla, Luke, Tyler, Neil and Maura, as well as the cherished niece of Frank and Pat Schibelka. Leone is further survived by other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Mitchell, and grandchildren, Faith and Brian. Leone enjoyed cross-stitching and cruising, and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Leone was a devout Catholic who lived her faith on a daily basis. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 16th, at 12:00 PM at Holy Apostles Catholic Parish, 16000 W. National Ave., New Berlin, WI 53151. Visitation will be Friday 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. Interment will be at Holy Apostles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
