Lisa Marie Lange of Mequon left us to join her Heavenly Father on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the tender young age of 51 after a long 14-year battle with cancer. Beloved and cherished wife of Joseph J. Garstecki, loving Mother of Sarah and Benjamin Garstecki, devoted daughter of Roger Lange, dear sister of David (Christine) and Daniel (Clare), step-mother of Nicholas and Heather Garstecki, and dear friend of Kristin Smith. Preceded in death by her mother Alyce Jean Lange. Also survived by many other relatives and numerous friends. Lisa was born in Buffalo, New York, earned her degree in Electrical Engineering at North Carolina State University, and moved to Milwaukee in 1990. After a short career at Rockwell International, she dedicated her life to her children and the Mequon community, served as a youth soccer and tennis coach, and was an active member of the Brown Deer Women's Golf League. A Service to honor Lisa's life will be held on Wednesday, March 16th at Christ Church, 13460 N. Port Washington Rd Mequon, with visitation from 5 PM until 7 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 7pm. Private burial Resurrection Cemetery, Mequon. In lieu of flowers, memorials to New Beginnings are Possible, 3717 W. Fond du Lac Ave., Milwaukee, 53216, www.nbap.org, would be appreciated.
