Lois Schaefer

(nee Allen) Age 87, passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Lois has been reunited with her loving husband of 66 years Ed. Lois was preceded in death by her children, Mary Jo Rommel, Diane Strosin, John and David, and special granddaughter Katie. She is survived by her children, Lynn (Michael) Van Roo, Mark, Scott (Mary), Darlene (Karl) Egle, Carl and Patti (Charles) Hieland, and sons-in-law Dennis Rommel and Joseph Strosin. Further survived by 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Lois spent her retirement years on Silver Spring Lake in Neshkoro, WI. Lois loved and was loved-she will be deeply missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 10, 11 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 315 N Main St., Neshkoro, WI. Burial to follow at the Church Cemetery. Visitation Saturday at the Church from 10 AM until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Make-A-Wish Foundation, 11020 W. Plank Ct. #200, Wauwatosa, WI 53226, would be appreciated.
