Lorraine Shorey

Lorraine G. Shorey (nee Spanner) Found peace on Monday July 6, 2015 at the age of 88. Loving wife for 55 years, of the late Eugene Shorey. Dear mother of Todd Shorey and Kim (Ken) VanMieghem. Proud and loving grandmother of Maren, Lindsay, JohnMac and Vince VanMieghem. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral service 11:00 AM on Friday July 10, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, N60 W6047 Columbia Rd, Cedarburg, WI 53012. Visitation Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until time of service. Private Interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Lorraine had a great appreciation of music and dance, working her way through college giving dancing lessons. She taught kindergarten with Milwaukee Public Schools for over 30 years and happily devoted her life to her family and to the children around her.
