Luanne Schipper

October 4, 1931 — August 31, 2025

Luanne "Luie" F. Schipper Luanne Schipper (nee Brophy) of Brookfield WI was born to Eternal Life on August 31st, 2025 a month before her 94th birthday. Luanne was preceded in death by her husband Jerome Schipper, her mother and father John and Mary Brophy as well as her 2 sisters Eileen Loftus (Leonard) and Marie Retzer (Ken). She is survived by her brother Fr. John Brophy, her nieces and nephew, her grand nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. After Luanne's 36 year career at Blue Cross Blue Shield, she transitioned into an insurance claims processor for Wilkie's Village Pharmacy. Luanne turned her love of travel into a second career of escorting groups of travelers all over the world for the Silver Security Club of Security Savings & Loan and eventually M&I Bank. Her favorite times were spent at Army Lake in East Troy, Wi, early on with her parents and siblings and eventually with her husband, nieces and nephew. From Memorial Day to Labor Day nothing took precedence over her love for Army Lake. Visitation will be on September 13 ^th , 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am at St John Vianney Catholic Church, 1755 N Calhoun Rd., Brookfield WI. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St John Vianney. Private family burial to follow at St Peter's Cemetery in East Troy. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St Thomas More High School (Brophy, Schipper Endowed Scholarship) or Marquette University High School (John and Mary Brophy endowed scholarship).
