Lynn Marie Buszkiewicz

October 14, 1949 — November 24, 2025

Mequon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Lynn Marie Buszkiewicz, who left this world on November 24, 2025, in Mequon, Wisconsin, at the age of 76. Born on October 14, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Lynn was the beloved daughter of Lorretta and Eugene Placzkowski. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, whose warmth and values shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.

Lynn's journey through life was marked by significant milestones, including her marriage to her high school sweetheart, Tim Buszkiewicz, a union that lasted an inspiring 54 years. Together, they cultivated a warm and loving home, raising their two children, Kyle Buszkiewicz (Janet), and Kelly Drengler (Steve). Lynn's family was her pride and joy, and she cherished her role as a grandmother to Nathan, Tyler, Avery, and Madden, showering them with love and attention that left a lasting impact on their lives. She is also survived by her siblings Thomas Placzkowski (Lynn) and Eugene Placzkowski, Jr. (Ying), nieces, nephews and Godchildren, who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Whether it was tending to her beautiful garden, enjoying the art of bird watching, or passionately following her favorite Milwaukee Brewers baseball team, Lynn approached everything with enthusiasm. Her love for baking and shopping with her grandchildren created cherished memories that they will hold dear forever. Additionally, she found joy in card-playing with her card club and traveling to sunny and warm places where she was eager to explore and create lasting experiences with her loved ones.

Lynn was a devoted member of the Good Shepherd Church parish and served as a former officer and a steadfast supporter of the Hope Network for Single Mothers, demonstrating her commitment to uplifting others and making a difference in her community.

Lynn's characteristic generosity and thoughtfulness shone through in her actions. She had a special way of remembering birthdays and holidays, often sending cards filled with warmth and love to those she cherished. Her resilience was inspiring; as a 25-year cancer survivor, she faced life's challenges with grace and courage.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Lynn's life and share in the love she so generously bestowed upon others on Monday, December 8th, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:45am, followed by a service starting at 12:00pm at Good Shepherd Church located at N88 W17658 Christman Rd., Menomonee Falls, WI 53051. If you cannot attend in person, the church service will be streamed here.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the HOPE Network for Single Mothers, an organization dear to Lynn's heart, reflecting her spirit of generosity and her desire to support single mothers in need.

Lynn Marie Buszkiewicz will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her loving nature, unwavering dedication to family, and vibrant spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Lynn; you have left an indelible mark on our lives.
