Marcy Sanhuber
Marcy was born on February 5, 1943, the same day as Henry Aaron, and went to "the other side" on April 15, 2025 to meet up with her children Dan and Vicki Jo Szohr, who preceded her in death, along with her parents, Mickey and Sandy Sanhuber and dear friend Frankey Perona.
She is survived by her two sisters, Kathy "Peepsie" Kaye of Sun City Center, FL, and Mary "Squeaky" Zillig of West Bend, WI. Nieces Mary Rose (John) Unrue, Jeanne Seawright and nephew Michael (Claudia) Pileggi, all of FL. Special friends Lois Gianckino, Jim Kenngott, Ray Groh, and "adopted children" Mark and Christina Toth, hospice nurse Kelly, along with many other totally remarkable, helpful and loving friends too numerous to mention, and relatives, including the Jasinski family.
Marcy was a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous since March 1984. She was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge 49, Polka Boosters, Old Time Ballplayers Association and the Tissue Organ Donor Association, and was a regular blood donor.
Marcy loved the sun and pool, ballroom dancing, dancing on roller skates, playing cards, reading, as well as doing cryptos and crosswords. She loved the Brewers, the Bucks, the Badgers, pro tennis and game shows. She loved her plants and flowers, hanging out laundry, and having colors match! She loved her three-legged dog, Archie, along with her cats, Cuddles and Iris.
She was a former U.S. Field Representative for the Census Bureau, which she considered making social calls that she got paid for doing!
Visitation will be held at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Rd., Hales Corners on Saturday, May 24 from 11:00 - 1:00, followed by friends and family sharing stories about Marcy from 1:00 – 2:00. Marcy requested that you wear bright colors to the service to remind each other of all the joy that there still is in this world.
In lieu of flowers, Marcy suggested a memorial to the charity of your choice.
Marcy would like everyone to give away a lot of smiles and know that she is happy in her new home.
