Margaret Pelkey

Margaret "Maggie" Alice Pelkey, 71, of Mequon, WI passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Maggie was born on April 15, 1945 in Rodney, IA to Lawrence and Evelyn Woodward. She received her teaching degree from Michigan State Teachers College and her Master's degree in Multicultural Education from UW-Milwaukee. She proudly taught elementary education for over 30 years in the Mequon/Thiensville School district. Maggie loved her family, friends, Milwaukee Brewers baseball, traveling, and teaching. Maggie is survived by her brother Robert (Georgia) Woodward of Altoona, IA, her sister Rosemary (Les) Meineke of Menominee Falls, WI, her sons Matthew (Raechael) Pelkey and Kevin Pelkey of Mequon, WI, and grandson Maxwell (Matthew and Raechael) Pelkey. Maggie is preceded in death by her brother Rex (Pat) Woodward of Lake Havasu, AZ and her parents, Lawrence and Evelyn Woodward. A memorial service will be held at Schramka Densow Funeral Home in Thiensville from 11am to 1pm on Wednesday, October 26th.
