We sadly announce the passing of our dear mother, Margaret Ann Schienke. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on November 2, 1934 and went to her Heavenly Home on May 22, 2026. The older of two daughters born to Paul Hagemann and Irene Brasch, she married George Schienke and lived most of her life in Menomonee Falls.
Margaret will be deeply missed by her four daughters: Ruth (Eric), Heide, Laurie (Khalil) and Linda (Jamal). Cherished grandmother of Leanna (Ibrahim), Amir, Aaron and Adam and great
grandmother to Laith and Jad. Dear sister to Carol (Franc) and aunt to James (Monica). She was preceded in death by her other nephew Tim, brother-in-law Franc, and son-in-law Khalil.
Margaret was a wonderful mother. She loved to cook and bake for her family and was the best. She made birthdays, holidays, vacations always so special and we daughters will treasure
those memories. With such a green thumb, there were always flowers around. She was also thrifty and developed a talent for investing. About many things, she was uncannily intuitive.
Margaret had a heart for all animals; cat Andy was her favorite, but all her cats were special. Her beloved dogs were Penny, Pepi, and Pepper.
The greatest joy she had in life, in her own words, were her four girls. She loved us dearly and we were everything to her. Among favorite memories was an outing to the State Fair
one year with her grandchildren and going with Heide every summer to visit Wisconsin Dells. We loved, admired and honored our mother fully, not just because she was a good mother, but
for the hardship she endured the last part of her life. Waukesha County unjustly made her a ward and took everything from her that she worked for her entire life. She endured those terrible years with dignity and we will always remember her strength.
Mama, you will be sorely missed. We will think of you every day of our lives until we see you again. It is of comfort to know you are safe in the arms of Jesus your Savior whom you loved
very much. Though bedridden these last two years, you are now free. You said once if Oma came to get you again, you would go with her. It turned out to be the same day she passed.
Until we see you again, your spirit will live on in us. We love you so much.
