Margaret Sinski

Sinski, Margaret (Nee Guest) Margaret Sinski peacefully joined her Lord in Heaven on Friday May 18, 2018 at the age of 91 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard; they were married for 44 years. She will be dearly missed by her children, Sharon, Mark, John (Donna), Tom (Patti), and Dave (Julio). Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Margaret was born December 26, 1926 in Bath, Maine to Annie and John Guest. She grew up in New Brunswick, Canada with four younger brothers who preceded her in death, Joe (the late Doreen), Paul (the late Alice), Hilary (the late Bunny), and Jim (the late Adele). She was valedictorian of her high school and proceeded to nursing school at Mercy Medical in Portland, Maine where she graduated in 1948. After graduation, she worked as a RN at Massachusetts General in Boston. In the early 1950's, she moved to Milwaukee to join her cousin, who was a physician in residency, and his family, and started working at American Motors. Margaret met the love of her life, Richard, on a blind date. During that time, she worked for 25 years at St Joseph's hospital. She was a longtime member of Mother of Good Counsel parish; involved in the Christian Women's Society at MGC and served meals at the Catholic shelter. Margaret loved anything with chocolate, reading, baking, crossword puzzles, and a nice glass of sauvignon blanc before dinner. She was known as a sharp dresser and is remembered for her sweet personality and welcoming heart; always having a kind word and a helping hand for everyone she met. A wake will be held Tuesday May 22, 2018 from 4 to 9 pm at Schramka Funeral Home, W164 N9034 Water Street, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051, with a Rosary and Vigil Service at 7PM. There will be a celebration Mass at St Anthony Catholic Church, N74 W13604 Appleton Ave, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051, Wednesday May 23, 2018 at 10:00am with visitation at 9:30am. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery will follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org)
