Wetzel, Maria V. (Bilicki) Born to Eternal Life Wednesday January 26, 2022 at the age of 85 years. She was preceded in death by 2 loving husbands, Richard F. Werlein (1982) and Max O. Wetzel (2008) Loving mother to Julie (Kevin) Welch, Merry (Tom) Risch, Ellen Werlein (Paul Wartman) Stepmother to Joan (Allan) Stempski, the late Warren (Anne), Charles (Janice), Jeanne (Garrett) Chinn, John (Kathy) Proud grandmother of Kathryn (Timothy) Mankiewicz, Rachel Allen, Nicholas Allen and Joseph Risch. Great grandmother to Henry Patrick Mankiewicz. In addition, she was a step grandmother to Shawn (Jessie) Welch and 12 more grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond (1968) and Veronica (1993) Bilicki. Also preceded in death by her siblings, Raymond (Grace) Bilicki, Ronald (Ester) Bilicki and Rosalie (Greg) Brunner. Further survived by many other relatives and friends. Maria was a woman of strong Catholic faith who cherished spending time with her family. Her passions were cooking, entertaining, collecting recipes, and watching cooking shows. She also loved watching old movies and could tell you the name of every actor and actress in the cast. Anyone who met Maria was always greeted with her infectious smile and jovial personality. We will miss her dearly! Visitation Friday, February 11,2022 from 9:30AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at Christ King Church 2604 North Swan Blvd, Wauwatosa, WI
