Marion M. Gerschke

(nee Kohl) Born to Eternal Life on May 24, 2026 at the age of 91. Beloved mother of Thomas, Jeffery, Daniel and Christine (Tim “Jack”) Verette. Loving grandmother of Jeremy (Colleen), Jennifer, Amber, Nick, Tom, John, Joey, Jacob, and Michael Gerschke, Kim and Stacey Bassler. Great grandma of Madelyn, Levi, Carter and Hudson. Dear sister of Arlene Wolf. Sister-in-law of Arlene Kohl and Richard Gerschke. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents John and Gertrude Kohl and siblings Norbert, John and Sharon.

A Funeral Service will be held on June 4th 2026 at 6PM at Schramka Funeral Home (W164 N9034 Water St. Menomonee Falls, WI). A visitation will take place from 4PM until the time of service. Private interment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marion’s name to The Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County (HAWS).

Marion enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing softball, and taking trips to the casino. She loved cheering on the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Marion took great pride in her work at Briggs & Stratton and also spent many years bartending at Rich’s, where she built countless lasting friendships. Above all, she treasured time spent with family and friends and will be remembered for her kind heart, generosity, witty sense of humor, and the genuine joy she brought to those around her.
