Martha Boehme

Martha A. Boehme (nee Sanders) Of Franklin, was born to Eternal Life on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the age of 89. She was born on September 10, 1931, in Elm Grove, WI, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (nee Goetz) Sanders. Martha attended Holy Angels Catholic High School in Milwaukee. She married the love of her life, Fred J. Boehme on May 1, 1954. They then worked side by side for many years at his business, Boehme Refrigeration/ Heating and Air Conditioning. Martha has been a longtime member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church. She was a member of the Christian Women's Society and would volunteer to clean and launder the Priest Vestments. Martha also enjoyed being a member of the Franklin Walkers; the group would meet at the Franklin Sport Complex. Martha is survived by her children, Frederick Charles (Linda) Boehme, Steve Boehme, Mary (Dennis) Kieckbusch, Ann (Pat) Lundy, Sue (Dave) Mayer and Chris Boehme. Grandchildren, Debbie Seip, Therese Saler, Kurt Saler, Kim Laatsch, Stephanie Severa, David Mayer, Sarah Gabreilsen, Melissa Kieckbusch, and William Kieckbusch. Great-grandchildren, Leland, Annelise, John Miro, Emmerson, Lydia, Kaylee, Kyle, Kassidy. She is further survived by a sister, Lorraine Gresl; other relatives and friends. Martha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Boehme; brothers, Robert and John Sanders, and a granddaughter, Kathryn M. Mayer. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 10:00AM until the time of the 11:00AM Memorial Mass at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 7963 S. 116th St., Franklin, WI 53132. Burial will take place immediately following Mass at the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association 620 S 76th Street #160, Milwaukee, WI 53214, would be appreciated.
