Mary Hilger

August 20, 1943 — October 3, 2023

(nee Mackie) Born to Eternal Life October 3, 2023 at the age of 80 years. Dear mother of Peter Hilger, Tina (Kurt) Horner, Paul "PJ" (Misty) Hilger and Mary Ansell. Loving grandmother of Melissa Hilger, Jessica Nemoure, Joshua Horner and Benjamin Horner. Great-grandmother of David Joyce. Fond sister of Patricia (the late Clayton) Goes, Thomas (Ann) Mackie, Sandy (the late Larry) Bero and Barbara Ingram. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents William and Doris Mackie, and her siblings Kathleen, William "Popeye", Audrey, Carol (Mike) and Courtney. Mary enjoyed arts and crafts; she was especially gifted in drawing. She was industrious, creative, very handy and resourceful. Mary loved the Lord more than anything. She loved to laugh, always had a joke and enjoyed a good pun. Special thanks to Luther Manor for their loving care and kindness during these past 7 months. Visitation Saturday, October 28, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM.
