Mary Anna Weber passed away peacefully on the morning of January 9, 2022, with family at her side.
Mary was born to Eugene and Anna Weber on October 20, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended high school in Des Moines, graduated from Mount Mary College in Wisconsin in 1954, and received her Masters in Science from Notre Dame University in Indiana c. 1965.
After college, Mary taught at Messmer and Madonna High Schools, and after receiving her Masters she taught chemistry for many years at Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee.
After retiring, Mary spent time doing volunteer work. She taught English as a Second Language, at Sacred Heart Seminary, to students in the School of Theology from Asia, Africa and South America. Mary had a special interest in helping "seniors" and, for many years, she volunteered in programs to help seniors complete their taxes. She also volunteered at Ruth Hospice and at St. Mary's church in Hales Corners.
Mary's parents and her two brothers (Herm and Al Weber) preceded her in death. She is survived by her 4 nieces, 2 nephews, cousins, and by many good and close friends. She is remembered as being kind and dedicated to her friends and family.
