Maryanne Szyjakowski

Maryanne Szyjakowski Age 91, of Carmel, Indiana, formerly of Thiensville, Wisconsin died May 20, 2015 at Sunrise Assisted Living. Maryanne was born September 11, 1923 Fond-du-Lac, Wisconsin the only child of John and Elizabeth Weinshrott Ludwig. Mrs. Szyjakowski was retired from the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee. Maryanne was a faithful member of Lumen Christi Catholic Church in Thiensville. She enjoyed volunteering at Luther Manor. Survivors include sons, William Stanton (Muriel) of Carmel, Indiana and Thomas Stanton (Suzanne) of Leavenworth, Washington; her grandchildren, Heather Culver (Brian), Benjamin Stanton (Kelsay), Allison Daun (Chad), John-Thomas Stanton; and her great-grandchildren, Bailey Culver and Jasper Daun. Maryanne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William R. Szyjakowski; and her grandson, Robert Stanton. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 AM Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 138 Buntrock Ave, Thiensville. Visitation at the church from 10 AM until time of Mass. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Mequon, WI.
