Maxine Marquardt

Maxine E. Marquardt (nee Neuberger) of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin passed away peacefully and was born to eternal life on July 24, 2024, at the age of 80 years. She was the daughter of Frederick and Margarita (Hugener) Neuberger and born in Columbus, Wisconsin. Maxine is survived by her daughter Brenda (John) Marquardt, two grandsons Sawyer and Sidney Marquardt, stepchildren Tom (Jackie) Marquardt and Karen (Chris) Jacobi, five step grandchildren Joshua Marquardt, Amber Jacobi, Melissa (Adam) Roskopf, Lauren (Shawn) Wilson and Austin Marquardt; two brothers Fred (Katherine) Neuberger, Gerald (Rhonda) Neuberger, and sister Naomi Neuberger. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Arlen Marquardt. Although she faced many trials in life, she was an example of strength, courage, generosity, and faith. She served for nearly 30 years as a nurse at a nursing home in Brown Deer where she cared for her patients with the utmost love, kindness, and compassion. She enjoyed traveling, volunteering at her church, caring for others at her local community outreach clinic, cheering loudly at her grandsons' soccer games, and preparing year-round for the Christmas season. Later in life she enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, and regular lunch dates with her many dear friends. Visitation will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Visitation at 11:00 AM and Funeral Service at 12:00 PM with a meal following the service. In lieu of flowers, Maxine kindly requests memorials to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls or the American Diabetes Association.
