Michael J. Albrecht "Mario"
Town of Cedarburg resident, Michael J. Albrecht passed away unexpectedly on Thursday March 5, 2015 at the age of 57. Mike was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 7, 1957, the son of Jack and Shirley (nee White) Albrecht, and married Rosemarie Thush on October 16, 1999. Survivors include his wife; Rosemarie (nee Petrowsky), daughter; Stephanie Thush, mother; Shirley Albrecht, brothers; Steve Albrecht and David Albrecht, sisters-in-law of Chris (Tom) Tushoski and Marina Albrecht, brothers-in-law; Mark (Janet) Petrowsky, Michael (Laura) Petrowsky, Gary Petrowsky and Brian (Julie) Petrowsky. Also survived by nieces, nephews, friends, the furry four legged patrons of the backyard Albrecht Animal Café, and especially his dog Carter, she was his happy yard companion. Preceded in death by his father; Jack Albrecht, and his brother; Scott Albrecht. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday March 12, 2015 at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, W76 N627 Wauwatosa Rd, Cedarburg, WI 53012. Military Honors will be presented at the conclusion of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Church or any Humane Society, appreciated. The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday at the church from 3:00-6:00 pm. Mike was employed at Messer Cutting Systems Inc. in Menomonee Falls, WI. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mike's love of nature was evidenced by his passion for flowers and love of animals. Among his other interests and pastimes were: the Green Bay Packers, NASCAR, deer hunting with his brother-in-laws, playing Sheepshead and slots, and on winter weekends watching TV in front of the fireplace.
