Michael Schmidt

Received his wings to be with Jesus on June 5, 2019, age 48 years. Loving father of Rylie. Dear son of Joan and Larry Schmidt. Sweet brother of Julie Lalor and Karen Koester. Best uncle of Kamryn (Clayton), Zach, Kennedy, Matt, Jordan, and Evan. Best great-uncle of William. Special friend to many. Also survived by other relatives. Schmitty was a former fire fighter and EMT for the City of New Berlin Fire Department. Mr. Mike was an adored youth instructor at The Ridge Community Church in Greenfield. He was a successful organ donor, the ultimate gift of life, and a beautiful tribute to his spirit of giving to so many. Visitation Sunday, June 9, from 2-4 PM at the Schramka-Borgwardt Funeral Home, 11030 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners, followed by a Funeral Service at 4 PM. Private burial Forest Hill Memorial Park in Oak Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Rylie Salyers for her future care and education.
