Monica Bruening

(nee Wagner) Born to Eternal Life in Heaven on October 15, 2023 age 61 years.  Loving and amazing wife of Daniel. Beautiful and strong mother of Erika, Tamara (Benjamin) Bruskiewicz and Alissa (Nicolas) Martinez.  Wonderful nana of Jayden Bruening.  Fond sister of Rosemarie Wagner.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and many granddogs.  Preceded in death by her parents Hubertus and Gisela Wagner and mother and father-in-law Sophie and Richard Bruening. Monica was devoted to her family and was a selfless and caring individual.  She will be greatly missed by many. Visitation Saturday, October 21, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 264 W. State St., Hartford, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
