Nancy Huggins was a loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, and friend. She passed away peacefully on December 22nd, 2021, at the age of 86.
Born in Oak Park, Illinois, Nancy completed her Bachelor's degree in Education at Illinois State University and went on to acquire her Master's degree in Library Sciences at Rosary College. She spent the last 20 years of her career teaching Basic Skills and GED courses at MATC.

She also enjoyed playing and teaching piano and singing in the choir. Well into her 70's she would visit the memory care center at Lutheran Home in Wauwatosa and draw pictures of the resident's dogs from their childhood. She was a hiker and jogger, an avid reader and gardener, and a passionate advocate for those in need. Nancy is survived by her children, David (Cathleen) Krug, Daniel Krug and Rebecca (Misha) Huggins; and her grandchildren Cassandra, Joseph, Maxwell and Dakota; and her cousin Cynthia (Robert) Denny. Also survived by other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Beatrice, her father Ernest and her sister Carol.
