Naomi Frensz

May 30, 1934 — November 23, 2023

Naomi R. Frensz (nee Ebert) Age 89 of Mequon, WI., was called to her heavenly home on November 23, 2023. Beloved wife of Phillip for 61 years. Mother of Kathryn A. (Mark) Macauley, Geneva, IL. and Elizabeth J. (Robert) Swenson, Oconomowoc, WI., fond sister-in-law of Nancy Ebert, devoted grandmother of Allison and Connor Macauley and Jessica and Sarah Swenson. Pre-deceased by her father Edmund, mother Elsie, and brother Philip. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Naomi was born May 30, 1934 in Whitefish Bay, daughter of Lutheran Pastor, Edmund P. Ebert and Elsie A. Ebert. She moved to East Troy with her family at an early age, where she spent her childhood. Graduated from East Troy High School in 1952 and later worked in the office of a local manufacturer for two years. Her father passed away unexpectedly which warranted a move to the Milwaukee area and the company of many relatives. Those connections led to her employment with First Wisconsin National Bank in Milwaukee, and she worked there for ten years as a secretary in the Controllers Office. Her interest in the bank choral group and other activities led her to a courtship and marriage to Phillip. She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Milwaukee and was involved with the choir for many years. This served as a strong foundation for her new family. The family enjoyed traveling together throughout the Midwest. Many happy times were enjoyed at the family summer cottage on Big Cedar Lake in West Bend. Fond memories were made there over the years with friends and family. While living in Mequon, Naomi became a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistadt, engaged in volunteer activities and loved spending time sewing quilts and blankets which were then donated to African Missions. Visitation for both Naomi and Phillip will be held Wednesday, December 20th from 11 AM until 1 PM at Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield. Service to follow at 1 PM. Memorials in Naomi's name may be made to Christ Alone in Thiensville in lieu of flowers. Interment Wisconsin Memorial Park.
