Olga C. Nelson

In loving memory of Olga, born October 1, 1931, in Mexico City, Mexico, and departed from us on September 29, 2026, just shy of her 95th birthday.

Olga's life was filled with love, adventure, and enduring friendships. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her journey through life was rich and full, marked by her marriage to Perry Nelson, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Together, they shared 44 years of marriage, enjoying countless trips, elegant ballroom dances, and cherished gatherings with friends. Their love was a testament to commitment and companionship, and Perry's passing left a profound void in Olga's heart.

Family was the cornerstone of Olga's life. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Perry, her loving parents, and dear brothers and sister. She is survived by her brother, Gerardo (Yayo) Cabrera Velez; nephew Scott (Pam) Nelson and their children Jeff and Amanda, as well as other nieces and nephews.

Olga was blessed with the gift of friendship, and her very good friends and neighbors were an integral part of her life.

The family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate caregivers, at Elmbrook Hospital, St. Croix Hospice, and Always Best Care who provided Olga with exceptional medical care, comfort and kindness.

A service to celebrate Olga's remarkable life will be held on October 14, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church, located at 18255 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI followed by a burial service at Wisconsin Memorial Park. 13235 W. Capital Dr., Brookfield WI.

Olga's spirit will forever remain a part of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her life was a blessing, and her memory a treasure. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
