Mequon

Pamela Kay Plambeck passed away peacefully at Newcastle Place Highlands Health Center in Mequon, Wisconsin, on June 9, 2026, at the age of 78 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on October 28, 1947, in Davenport, Iowa to James Robertson and Marion (Jones) Robertson. Pam was raised in Davenport and was a graduate of Davenport West High School in 1965. She attended the University of Iowa for a year before marrying the love of her life, Keith Plambeck, on September 2, 1967, in Davenport.

Pam and Keith raised their four children in Mequon, Wisconsin. She stayed at home when her children were young and was very active in their lives. Pam served as a Boy Scout den mother for many years. She also volunteered in the local school libraries. Her home was a welcoming place not only to her children but also to their many friends. She was Mom to many children. She loved baking and the smell of warm chocolate chip cookies or fresh brownies would greet her children and their friends after school.

When the children were older, Pam entered the workforce and became a customer service representative at Strong Funds in Menomonee Falls until her retirement. Pam loved cooking for her family, was an avid reader, and liked watching Hallmark Christmas movies. She enjoyed collecting Belleek Irish China and Santa figurines from around the world. In her later years, Pam enjoyed attending plays, musicals and the performing arts. Pam, Keith and their daughter, Beth, would frequently attend concerts of local Blues musicians as well as other music genres.

Pam was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister, Deborah Ross, and a brother, Philip Robertson. She is survived by her four children: Gregory, Christopher (Abby), Bradley, and Elizabeth; her four grandchildren: Ban, Sarah, Andrew, and Natalie; three nephews Chad (Angie) Scott, Timothy (Virginia) Scott, and Steven (Natalie) Scott; and many cousins and very dear friends.

A joint celebration of life will be held for Pam and Keith at a later date.
