Patricia Louise "Pat" Wilson, 88, entered into the nearer presence of the Lord on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital.
She was born on June 13, 1937, in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of Ray Ellis Willett and Alvina (Techert) Willett. Pat grew up in Antioch, Illinois. While living in Chicago, she met and married Gunnar C. Ahlstrand on September 28, 1956. Together they raised three children. Gunnar preceded her in death on November 30, 2012. The couple divorced in September 1965. Pat later married Richard H. Wilson on March 9, 1994, and they remained married until his passing on April 23, 2024.
Pat loved to write poetry, read, crochet, sew, bake, and cook. Above all, she cherished spending time with people.
She is survived by two children, Patricia (David) Bubacy of Thiensville, WI, and James (Jeanne) Ahlstrand of West Bend, WI; three grandchildren, Fallon Bubacy (William Crass), Nathaniel (Ashley Curran) Bubacy, and Michael Anstatt (son of her late son Gunnar and Sylvia Ahlstrand) of Germany; and two great-grandchildren, Georgia and Gunnar. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Lois (Denny) Willett, who lovingly dedicated over ten months of her life to caring for Pat.
Pat was also blessed by the friendship and support of Lonnie and Scott Ingram, who devoted many years to assisting both Pat and Richard.
In addition to her husbands, Gunnar and Richard, Pat was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Gunnar C.R. (Sylvia) Ahlstrand; and all her siblings: Raymond "Sonny," Bernard "Bud," Bobby "Pooch," William "Skook," Beatrice "Sis," Betty, Edith "Babe," and Dennis "Denny."
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in a private room at Birchwood Grill, 7515 125th Ave., Kenosha, WI 53142. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Dementia Society of America in her memory.
