Peter "Pete" M. Ruhland July 4, 1952 - June 30, 2019 With profound sorrow, we announce the untimely passing of Peter "Pete" M. Ruhland of Mequon. Pete passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2019, at the age of 66, just a few days before his 4th of July birthday. Peter was born to John and Lillian Ruhland of Milwaukee, where he grew up. As a young adult, he got in on the ground floor of a plastics injection molding company and worked his way up to Plastics Engineer by the end of his decades long career. Peter was a kind and forgiving soul, who never seemed to have anything mean to say about anyone. He loved his family and friends, his home and his pets. He was a car/motorcycle enthusiast, pool player, fisherman and all-around goofball with a silly sense of humor that made us all laugh. Peter will be sorely missed at our gatherings. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his beloved feline friend Maggie. He is survived by his siblings, John (Kay) Ruhland and Jane (Tom) Biedlingmaier, as well as nephews David (Susie) Ruhland, Dan Ruhland, niece Mary Biedlingmaier, grand-nephews Zander Ruhland and Will Ruhland and grand-niece Lexie Ruhland. Visitation will be on July 18, 2019, from 5pm to 7pm at the Schramka-Densow Funeral home in Thiensville. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
