Phillip H. Frensz Age 91 years, of Mequon, WI, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Beloved husband of Naomi Frensz [Ebert] for 61 years. Father of Kathryn A. [Mark] Macauley of Geneva, IL, and, Elizabeth J. [Robert] Swenson of Oconomowoc, WI. Proud grandfather of Allison and Connor Macauley; Jessica and Sarah Swenson. Preceded in death by his wife Naomi, father Charles, mother Gertrude, brother Richard. Phillip [Phil] was born February 17, 1932 in Whitefish Bay, WI to Charles H. Frensz and Gertrude [Hoehl] Frensz. Phil graduated from Whitefish Bay High School in 1950, went on to Lawrence University, then transfered to University of WI Madison where he joined the ROTC and Beta Theta Phi fraternity. Phil enjoyed numerous fraternity activities while earning his business degree from UW School of Commerce. Upon graduation Phil served as an officer in the US Army Quartermaster Corp in Fort Lee, Virginia and Philadelphia Depot, and, was discharged as 1st Lieutenant in February 1957. Phil began his career at Ernst & Ernst as a public accountant auditing various businesses in the Milwaukee area. Also, together with his brother, was involved in the family's day-to-day printing business. Joined forces with colleagues to expand a local coin-operated laundry business. Provided accounting and finance work for a computer company affiliated with MSOE. Later on in years he continued working independently assisting various small businesses with real estate and tax accounting matters. Phil married his soul mate Naomi on May 12, 1962, resided in Whitefish Bay, WI, then later moved to Mequon, WI. Phil was a deeply devoted son, brother, husband, father, and uncle who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family. Enjoyed outdoor activies including down hill skiing, water skiing, tennis and most of all, golf! Was continually perfecting his swing, and, could be found out on the course regularly, even up to his final days. Memorable summers spanning over forty years were spent at the family cottage on Big Cedar Lake in West Bend, WI and was a member of West Bend Country Club. Visitation for both Naomi and Phillip will be held Wednesday, December 20th from 11 AM until 1 PM at Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield. Service to follow at 1 PM. Donations can be made in Phillips name to Christ Alone Thiensville or your charity of choice in lieu of flowers.
