Ralph X. Weitzer
Born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, Ralph passed away in the early Tuesday morning hours.
Ralph was born in West Allis, Wisconsin; the son of Alois and Laura (Nee Rieder) Weitzer. He grew up surrounded by loving siblings: an older sister June and older brothers Julius, Victor, Harold, Paul, and Donald. He graduated from Holy Assumption Elementary School and then attended and graduated from Piux XI Catholic High School in Milwaukee.
After high school, Ralph served his country for 2 years in the United States Army. He then pursued a career as an architectural draftsman; becoming a master at his craft.
On November 11, 1961, Ralph married (the late) Yvonne V. (Nee Hinz). Throughout their marriage they lived in West Allis, Wisconsin, North Aurora, Illinois, Las Vegas, Nevada, Franklin, Wisconsin. Together they enjoyed traveling; particularly to Paris. They liked to bowl, vacation in upper Wisconsin, go fishing, cook, and spend time outdoors. Their marriage lasted just days short of 60 years.
Ralph was a cherished husband, dad, and grandpa (John Richards). Ralph is survived by his children, Laura Weitzer of Las Vegas, Joanne Richards (husband Jeff) of Port Washington, and Jeffrey Weitzer of Hales Corners. He will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, sister-in-law's, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 10-11 AM, with Military Honors at 11:00 AM at the Schramka-Borgwardt Funeral Home, 11030 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners. A reception will follow the visitation.
