Richard Beyerl

Richard Francis Beyerl died December 3rd, 2022. He was born to Leigh Winston and Veronica Natalie Beyerl (née Shea) October 14th, 1936 in Ossining, New York, where he grew up. With degrees in history and social science from Ball State and a PhD from Indiana University in 1968, he held the positions of instructor, administrator, coordinator and Associate Dean at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), mostly at West Campus. He was interested in Europe and loved to travel there. "Dick" is survived by his wife Nancy, sons Mark (RaeAnn) and Kurt, grandsons Joseph (Sarah) and Adam, granddaughters Kayleigh and Kieryn, sister-in-law Bonnie, niece Erica (Matthew) Bennett and nephew Timothy, and step-son Craig Birchhill. His brother Robert predeceased him. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the MATC Foundation. Services will be held at St. Mary's, Mother of God Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls, WI.
