Born to Eternal life on December 11, 2016 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne (nee Altschwager). Dear father of Karen (John) Berst, Diane (Randy) Hager and Jane (Marty) Loppnow. Loving grandfather of David (Jessie) Hager, Paul (Angela) Hager, Mary Berst, John Z. Berst, Grace Loppnow and Hannah Loppnow. Loving great-grandfather of Jonathan, Leah, Caleb, Jenna, Seth and Judah. Further loved by other relatives and friends. Richard was proud of his service in the Navy and was an atomic veteran of WWII. He worked for Miller Brewing Co. for 41 years. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, December 16 at 10 AM at St. Joan of Arc Parish, 120 Nashotah Rd, Nashotah. Visitation at the church from 9AM until time of Mass. Interment and military honors at Resurrection Cemetery, Mequon Friday at 2:30 PM.
