Richard Wenzel

March 5, 1969 — November 11, 2023

Richard "Rick" George Wenzel passed away suddenly on November 11, 2023 at the age of 54. Rick was born on March 5, 1969 in Camp Pendleton, California to Richard and Cynthia Wenzel. Rick leaves behind his proud father Richard Wenzel, beloved wife Jody Wenzel (nee Spiegelhoff), son Jordan (Kendra) Wenzel, daughter Jorden Munz and 4 beautiful granddaughters Marlee, Summer, Autumn, and Kynleigh. He is further survived by his siblings Christopher (Barbara) Wenzel, Heidi (Christopher) Engel and Andrew (Nicole) Wenzel, nephews, nieces and other relatives. Rick attended Franklin High School and upon graduation in 1987 enlisted in the US Marine Corps where he served our country as a helicopter mechanic and served a tour in Desert Storm. Rick was a proud Veteran and enjoyed spending time with other Veterans in his community in both New Mexico and Wisconsin. Rick was quite the outdoorsman and an avid hunter and loved the bonding time spent with family and friends on shared adventures. Rick recently retired and moved on to explore his passions- the outdoors and hunting. Rick further fulfilled himself in these areas by becoming a professional hunting guide in New Mexico. Leading people on tours and treks brought him a lot of happiness. Once a Marine, always a Marine. We love you, Rick. "Semper Fidelis" A memorial visitation will be held at Schramka-Borgwardt Funeral Home (11030 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners, WI 53130) on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 11am to 1pm. Private interment.
