Rita Towers

Rita T. (Estelle) Towers, age 95, passed away on Columbus Day, October 10, 2016, to sail the ocean blue in peace. Rita is survived by her daughters Patricia (Arthur) Andreshak and Lynne (Douglas) Werther; sons Terry (Marilyn) Towers and Dennis (Jacqueline) Towers; grandsons Matthew (Ashley), John (Heather), Kyle, Doug Jr (Meghan). Jenna, Jennie (Ryan) and Shannon (Dennis). Rita's husband John M. (the Silver Fox) Towers, preceded her in death. Rita proudly served the Coast Guard as a yeoman first class during World War II. Rita was retired from the Boston Store and continued to enjoy retirement in Florida where she was an avid golfer, swimmer, and tennis player (she hated bridge). She enjoyed the company of all of her grandchildren and her newest great grandchildren, Lillie and Hudson. She was a beautiful, gracious, kind lady to all, and loved her grand doggies. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 22, 11 am at St. James Catholic Church, 830 County Road NN East, Mukwonago, Visitation Saturday at the Church from 10 am until time of Mass. Memorials may be made to the animal rescue organization of your choice.
