Robert Bruss

Robert D. Bruss, of Milwaukee, WI, passed to heaven on July 23,2024. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carol (nee Glembin), several brothers and sisters in law and friends.  Robert is survived by his son Robert A. (Kim), his daughter, Mary and his two grandsons, Andrew and Kyle. Robert worked for Wisconsin Bell for 30 plus years and upon his early retirement, he went to work as maintenance for his Church, Our Lady of Good Hope Parish/school. He finished out his working days at A. Fillinger in the electrical department, where he enjoyed talking with and helping customers.  He also enjoyed being an usher and being on the dartball league at Our Lady of Good Hope.  His greatest joy was being Grandpa to Andrew, watching him grow up  and graduate college. Robert also enjoyed being with his grandpup, Emmett, his snack buddy. His family wishes to extend a special thanks to the ICU Staff at Columbia St. Mary Ozaukee Hospital, for the extraordinary care that they gave Robert during his last few days with us.  Robert will be laid to rest at 11 am, on Tuesday July 30, 2024 at the Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon.
