Robert Stevens

Stevens Sr., Robert D. Was called into eternal rest on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at age 97. Preceded in death by his wife Ruth (69 years), son Robert Jr. (the late Mary), all his brothers and sisters, dear brother in-law Fritz Hauke, and his close childhood friend Charles Cherney. Loving father of Randall (Cheryl), Richard (JoAnne), and Roger (Marsha). Grandfather to Robert III, Lori, Sheri, Tara, Katie, Ben, Eric, Matt, and Amy. Great-grandfather to Ashley, Drew, Eva, Michael, Sydney, Lizzie, Isla, Elliott, and Lucia. Further survived by friends from Wisconsin and Texas. Memorial service will be Friday, April 20 at 11 AM at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church (5500 W Greenfield Ave, West Milwaukee). Visitation from 10 AM until the time of service. Final resting place alongside his wife Ruth and brother in-law Fritz (Bea) at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project appreciated.
