Roberta Blasius

Roberta Ellen (nee Brozek) Blasius passed away peacefully on October 9, 2023 at the age of 89.  She was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 18, 1934 to Bernard and Eleanor Brozek.  She graduated from Bay View High School, attended Marquette University, and worked at Allen-Bradley.  On March 2, 1957 she married Robert Blasius, the love of her life.  She lived much of her life in Big Bend, WI where she raised her family and served many years as a dispatcher for the Big Bend/Vernon Volunteer Fire Department.  She later moved to Hubertus, WI and lived in view of Holy Hill, which was a source of joy. Roberta is survived by her sons, Dennis (Debbie) Blasius and Patrick Blasius, grandchildren Amanda (Dan) Bagin and Eric Blasius, and great-granddaughter Julia Bagin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Blasius, her son Michael Blasius, and her daughter-in-law Christine Blasius. Roberta enjoyed the song "Enjoy Yourself (It's Later Than You Think)", and we think that is a wonderful notion for those she left behind. Services will be private.
