Germantown

Ronald Williams, Menomonee Falls/Germantown, WI, found peace on Wednesday, August 26 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Margaret Ruth Williams, the couple known by family and friends as Ronnie and Ruthie, had been life-long friends since childhood. They were married for 59 years at the time of Margaret’s passing in 2018.

Ronald is survived by his two sons Ronald Stephen II (Wendy) and Brad (Lynn); grandchildren Alyssa (Mike), Tyler (Trisha), Jacob, Marlee, and Macy; and great grandchildren Decker, Enslee, Jovie and Landry. Ronald’s loving parents were Nellie and Bill Williams. He was the youngest of siblings Dean, Darlene, and Mary Ann – all deceased.

Ronald touched countless lives throughout his careers in education and music. He was a prodigy pianist and organist who loved entertaining family and friends. Everyone that had the opportunity to enter his home was treated to his musical skills on the piano, where he could play most any tune requested, especially Christmas carols and his favorite hymns.

He was born in New Philadelphia, OH, and graduated from Uhrichsville High School OH in 1954. He attended Eastern Nazarene College, Quincy, MA and Kent State University, where he received a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Education. He spent most of his 30-year teaching career in the Barberton, OH, school system where he and Margaret raised their two sons.

After their first retirements, Ron and Ruth moved to Santa Maria, CA, where they would spend over a decade before returning to the Midwest and relocating to Menomonee Falls, WI, to be near their grandchildren.

A private ceremony and interment will be held for family at Saint Boniface Episcopal Church, Mequon, WI.
